Building
Strategic Philanthropy
Serving the vision of global foundations and the voice of Israeli NGOs, I deliver ground-truth intelligence and strategic stewardship that transforms philanthropic capital into systemic resilience- and change that scales with purpose and precision.

20+ Years of Philanthropic Strategy
Across Three Continents
I have handed the check. I have needed the check.
After nearly a decade as Northern Region Director at UJIA - one of the UK's most significant Jewish charities investing in Israel - and years as VP for Resource Development across NGOs in Northern Israel, I have operated at both ends of the philanthropic table. Over more than two decades across Israel, the United States, and Europe, that rare duality has become the architecture of everything I do.

Dual Perspectives.
One Strategic Truth.
Tailored Alignment for Both Sides of the Table.
For Foundations & Donors
You have the vision and the capital.
I provide the ground truth intelligence, due diligence, and strategic stewardship to ensure your philanthropic investment in Israel builds systemic resilience - not just goodwill.
For Israeli NGOs
You have the impact and the field reality. I provide the strategic positioning, funder access, and grant architecture to ensure your work is seen, understood, and funded by the global capital it deserves.

Four pillars of strategic impact
Your Philanthropic Vision Deserves More Than Good Intentions.
It Deserves Strategy.
Why Work With Me
The Intelligence Your Board Cannot Buy - But Your Strategy Cannot Do Without
Global foundations operating in Israel face a structural disadvantage: they make high-stakes decisions about a field they cannot fully see.
Site visits help. Reports inform. But neither substitutes for the judgment of someone who has spent years inside the Israeli civil society ecosystem.
Not as an observer, but as a decision-maker.

Four Pillars of Fundable Impact
Strategic advisory for Israeli NGOs which is ready to access, secure, and grow international philanthropic partnerships
Why Work With Me
The Insider Advantage
I spent nearly a decade as the Northern Region Director at UJIA, sitting across the table from organizations like yours. I evaluated proposals, shaped the flow of philanthropic capital, and saw in real time what secured funding and what failed.
But I have also stood where you stand. I have led resource development inside Israeli NGOs, built funding strategies from the ground up, and carried the full weight of organizational survival.
When I advise you, I am not guessing what global funders think.
I know. Because I was one.
Your impact is fundable. Let’s build the strategy to prove it.

My Values
& Unique Proposition:
The Bridge Approach
Strategic philanthropy rarely fails for a lack of generosity. It fails for a lack of alignment. True impact requires the right principles on both sides of the table. I provide the structural integrity- The Bridge- that connects ambitious donor intent with effective field reality, ensuring that capital is not just spent, but invested in lasting change.
1) Integrity
I will tell you what you need to hear - not what you want to hear. If a foundation's strategy is misaligned with field reality, I will say so. If an NGO is not yet ready for the funders it is pursuing, I will say that too. My value to you depends entirely on the trust that I will never compromise the truth for the sake of the relationship.
4) Ground Truth
Every recommendation I make is grounded in verified, firsthand field intelligence. Not reports. Not presentations. Not managed distance. I have spent decades inside the Israeli civil society ecosystem - as a funder's representative and as an NGO leader - and I bring that unfiltered reality to every strategic decision I help you make.
2) Accountability
I hold myself accountable not only to my clients, but to the outcomes their investments are meant to create. When I advise a foundation to fund an organization, I carry responsibility for that recommendation. When I help an NGO access capital, I am accountable for how that capital is stewarded. Accountability, in my practice, is not a reporting requirement. It is a professional standard.
5) Independence
I do not represent one side of this ecosystem. I serve its integrity. This means foundations receive honest assessments - including of organizations they are already committed to. And it means NGOs receive honest counsel - including about whether their current approach is fundable. My independence is the source of my value. I protect it in every engagement.
3) Commitment
I do not work on transactions. I work for transformation. Every engagement I take on is guided by a long-term commitment to the goal - systemic and lasting change - not just the immediate deliverable. This means I stay engaged, ask the harder questions, and measure my success by outcomes, not outputs.
6) Confidentiality
Strategic advisory work requires complete trust. Everything shared with me - organizational challenges, funding strategies, internal tensions, field assessments - remains strictly confidential. My clients speak freely because they know that what they share with me stays with me. That trust is the foundation of every relationship I build.
My Insights

The Bridge Is a Person
Strategic philanthropy in Israel reaches its highest potential when vision and field reality speak the same language.
For more than two decades,
I have mastered both at the foundation table and deep within the field.
This dual perspective is the unique intelligence I bring to every engagement.
